On Yesterday Friday 09th of December, 2016 at 21:00, the electoral commissioner of Ghana announced the outcome of Ghana’s Presidential election. She declared the main opposition leader of the New Patriotic Party as the President elect.     Ebola patient Receiving Treatment World Health Organisation (WHO) has said that immediate and necessary response is required to battle against the unfortunate Ebola virus that has rear its ugly head in West Africa. Currently, the virus has hit only four of the West African Countries; namely Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria. Statistically, Guinea has the highest casualties. On Friday 8th November, 2013, A Ghanaian deputy minister for communication was fired by president Mahama for aiming for $1m (£600,000) illegal profiteering. Ms Victoria Hammah was quickly fired because she was caught gossiping on tape that her main aim in politics is to get this meagre amount of money. The tape was secretly recorded by her driver. About 24 hours when the tape was leaked, the president did not hesitate to fire Victoria without any forensic investigation or authenticity of the tape. Ghana President: This is just the beginning of my governance and I will soon get to higher gear to spearhead development of the state.

President John Mahama of Ghana says his critics should be patient with his government because he will change from slow gear to higher gear to spearhead development of the nation.
On Friday 25th October, President Mahama told a gathering at Awutu Senya in the Central Region of Ghana that he will soon change to 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear to develop the Nation.
