Uganda’s President Signs Anti-Gay Bill

Kampala-Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has signed into law the bill that criminalizes homosexuality. Museveni signed the controversial bill into law before the media on Monday afternoon at Statehouse Entebbe. “Even now i have not fully understood that you can fail to get attracted to these beautiful women and get attracted to a man, This is a very serious matter” President Museveni noted as he signed the Anti-Homosexuality bill into law. Museveni had earlier threatened that Uganda will turn to Rusia over what he called the west meddling in Uganda’s sovereignty. President Museveni Seeks America’s Help Over Homosexuality

Kampala-Uganda’s President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni says he is seeking help from American scientists on the gay question. US President Barrack Obama, last week warned that Uganda’s relationship with the US risks getting strained if the controversial anti-gay bill is passed into law. In response, Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni now says he is seeking help from US scientists to find out if being gay is natural. “I therefore, encourage the US government to help us by working with our Scientists to study whether, indeed, there are people who are born homosexual. Obama Attacks Uganda Over Anti-gay Bill

Washington-President Barack Obama has warned that the US relations with Uganda will be strained if the homosexuality bill is enacted into law. UN Confirms Death of Two Peace Keepers

Juba-Two United Nations soldiers have been killed in clashes in Southern Sudan. The two who were formerly serving under United Nations Mission in South Sudan-UNMISS died during clashes that occurred yesterday in Akobo town. The UN in a press release issued on Friday afternoon confirmed the deaths of two Indian Battalion soldiers. “This morning, the UN Mission in South Sudan conducted an aerial assessment to Akobo Town. We can confirm that two UNMISS Indian Battalion troops were killed in action. UNMISS can also confirm that one injured Indian soldier has been transported to the Mission’s medical facility in Malakal”. The statement reads.
