As the term the 9th Parliament comes to an end Ugandans taxpayers should brace to foot the extra cost ofy a bloated parliament. President Museveni has proposed the creation of thirty nine more constituencies to add to the country 375 seats. The number of Members of Parliament has been rising in each national election, resulting in an increased burden on the taxpayers. Two AMISOM Soldiers Killed & Several Civilians Reported Dead in Somali Parliament Attack

Al-Shabab   Alshabaab militias have attacked Somali parliament killing two soldiers from African Union Mission in Somalia-AMISOM and several civilians. A Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) went off at the entrance to the Somali Parliament and shortly al Shabaab fighters also stormed the building. Major Deo Akiiki The Spokesperson of the Ugandan military contingent in Somalia confirmed the attack. “A suicide VBIED at Parliament, 3 of the attackers killed and 02 blew themselves up, two AMISOM deaths, civillian fatalities as well” Akiiki stated.
